Saving one animal won’t change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal.
WHO NEEDS FOSTERING?
The answer to this changes weekly, daily and sometimes hourly. We get multiple request per day for strays, owner surrenders and more - both dogs and cats. Below is a list of common animals in need of foster placement:
• Adult Cats
• Litter of Kittens
• Pregnant Mom Cats
• Bottle Baby Kittens
• Large Adult Dogs
• Small Adult Dogs
VET CARE
We provide all required vet care for our foster animals. As the foster you are responsible for transportation to and from vet appointments, however we do have transporter volunteers available if needed. The team coordinator will work with you to schedule and ensure all vet care is completed.
SUPPLIES
We are happy to provide supplies required to care for your foster animal. We receive donations throughout the year to help provide these items to our foster families.
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE MY FOSTER?
Unfortunately there is no answer for this. While we work hard to get the animals in our care adopted efficiently, it takes time to find their forever home. Some fosters you’ll have for a few weeks, while others may be a few months. We have emergency foster homes available to help support our foster families when needed, as we recognize that you may have a trip planned, or an emergency arise.
