Diego
Adopted: October 2023
Boo (fka Diego) was a birthday gift for our son. From the moment I saw his picture, I knew he would be perfect for us. He is a very playful and wild boy! He loves his toys, specifically springs and feather wands, and always amazes us with his acrobatic flair. He is fairly quiet and doesn’t meow, rather he mews and chirps occasionally unless you go to a room and shut the door on him—then he will be vocal and paw at the door until you let him in. He loves to cuddle and make biscuits and loves burrowing under blankets. He is our sweet boy and truly enjoys his window watching and sunning himself whenever he can. He also likes to jump into the washing machine when we load it, so we always have to ensure that he gets a treat before we start the machine. So happy to have our Boo bear. -
Piper & Haze
Adoption: February 2024
Good morning I just wanted to thank you all again for the opportunity to bring these 2 into our life! My wife and I would be lost with out them! They are so loving and spoiled! Young pic is from Feb when we brought them home and more recent ones! Thank you again! Especially Tami, Bonnie (adoption counselor) and especially Sue who fostered them! -
Jesse Joe
Adopted: July 2024
Jesse is a very loving and friendly boy. We were looking for another furbaby for our home after we had to have our 14 year old male cat Cubby put to sleep due to congestive heart failure. Our 12 year old female cat Lily would walk around the house meowing and looking for him and wanting us to help her find him. We saw Jesse's picture on the grasp sight and thought he was the perfect little guy for our home. The house seemed so empty without Cubby and now it's full again. Jesse is my black cat I always wanted and Louie is the orange cat my husband always wanted. -
Kika
Adopted: March 2024
Kika is a healthy, happy girl who loves cuddles, conversation, and being brushed. She is receiving medical care for hyperthyroidism and arthritis, which has made her feel like a kitten again. Kika is immensely grateful for the love and patience shown to her by GRASP, her foster, Nicole, and the veterinarians who saved her life just over 15 months ago, when she suffered heartbreak and faced a medical emergency that none could be blamed for. She continues to feel deep love for the family that raised her, and her heart is warmed to have found an adoptive papa who loves her so much.
-
Avery James
Adopted: June 2023
Jonas (fka Avery James) has been the best addition to our kitty family we could have asked for. He is gentle and cuddly with our 10 year old cat, and gives our 2 year old cat the playmate that she’s been looking for. And he gives us, his parents, a healthy mix of lovies and zoomies! We are so thankful for him.
-
Fraidy
Adopted: 2007
She is still doing great and we love her so much. She has a dog sibling and a younger cat brother named Rocky and she loves them both very much. -
Marlie & Charlie
Adopted: June 2022
Marley and Charlie are a little over 2 years old now and they are thriving as indoor princesses. They are still bonded so tightly and continued to eat together and share a (very large;)) litter box. They both cuddle with rob and I at night and constantly follow us around the house and give us comfort. We have actually had both Marley and Charlie certified as emotional support animals due to how over affectionate they are. We loved our experience adopting through grasp and are hoping to add another addition soon!! -
Mosely
Adopted: June 2016
Miles (fka Mosely) is the brightness in my life. He is highly intelligent, sweet and sassy. He loves meal time, birdwatching, playing, watching us cook and hates expensive fountains and being left out of cuddles. Since his brother crossed the rainbow bridge in June his personality has blossomed and has become more social. GRASP may have rescued Miles, but Miles rescued me.
-
Dinky
Adopted: 2012
Max (formerly Dinky) has brought so much joy to my life for the past 12 years. Max was likely the runt of the litter and I immediately fell in love with him when I saw him at one of the local pet stores. Max has traveled with me from Rochester across the country and is enjoying his life in sunny CA. Despite having a chronic health condition (seizures/epilepsy), he remains the most happy-go-lucky and stress-free kitty. Max gets along with his canine siblings, loves naps and snuggles on the couch, licking shower curtains, and is a sucker for mochi ice cream. My husband and I love him to death and can't imagine life without our Max. Thank you G.R.A.S.P for saving him and all that you do for the animals! -
Mac & Cheese
Adopted: August 2023
Blaze (fka Mac & Cheese) has been such an amazing edition to our family. He is the sweetest boy. It took him like a month to come out of his shell, but he just blossomed into such a sweet, cuddly cat. I absolutely adore him. -
Toby
Adopted: March 2023
At first he was a bit anxious and a bit hyperactive. He tore through toys like they were tissue paper, but he was such a sweet boy. After gaining a bunch of weight and getting used to us, he has a routine that he loves, toys that he loves playing with with us, he also demands snuggles on a schedule and is an absolute idiot fawning over guests who come to our house. We couldn’t love him any more than we already do. What a wonderful companion. -
Angel
Adopted: June 2019
Our sweet girl Jojo (formerly Angel) has been a phenomenal addition to our little family. She is a great snuggler, muffin maker, and purring machine. GRASP was on the nose with her having a good disposition to be in a home with other cats. She helped her fur sister Lola adjust very well as Lola really needed the right fit to be able to add another cat to our home. Every day is an adventure and JoJo goes with the flow and keeps us laughing. So grateful for GRASP. -

His recoveries were very difficult. It was a whole year of medical stuff. After all that, I couldn’t part with him so I adopted him! He’s quirky and adorable. He pushes the other cats out of the way for treats despite having no teeth! -

He reminds me so much of our boy (the pillow Cash is hugging) Bomber that crossed the bridge back in September 2021. He was the piece we have been missing. We are so glad he's a member of our family. -
Jaxon
Adopted: November 2019
He showed up on a Sunday night 3ish yrs ago as the "50lb foster" that actually weighs 110 and never left! We wouldn't have it any other way.
