When you see a pet you are interested in adopting, just complete an online adoption form and an adoption counselor will follow up with you.

Attend an adoption event:

Petco - Greece location (2373 Ridge Rd West, Rochester NY 14626): Thursdays 6pm-8pm and Saturdays 11am-3pm.

We also have an adoption event at Petco one Sunday a month, usually the second Sunday, but there isn't a set time. Please check our event calendar to confirm if and when it takes place. Just know that it may not get posted until a day or two before as it depends on volunteer availability!

Cat adoption fees:

• Kittens six months and younger $135
• Cats over 6 months $100
• Seniors 8 years and older $50

Dog adoption fees:

• Dog adoption fees vary but are listed in the bio.

Adoption fees help offset some of the expenses incurred, since all of G.R.A.S.P.'s animals are examined by a local vet, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations and are spayed/neutered.

Please be aware that we are not able to adopt to anyone living more than two hours away from Rochester, NY. Some of these fur children came from bad situations and to be sure that they are in the right environment, home visits are necessary.

Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment and should be entered into as such.

Future expenses should be carefully taken into consideration.
